We are working in partnership with welcoming and inclusive primary schools that are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils with additional support needs. These are roles starting in September, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a child's life.

Main Duties

One-to-one support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs Assist with a child in class under the direction of the teacher, working primarily in a one-to-one capacity to support with designated tasks in both class lessons and play, and outside of the classroom Under the direction of the class teacher support learning activities and work with the individual, assisting in the implementation, and monitoring of progress, of individual education programmes Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour strategies, and learning engagement Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team Implementing consistent routines and tailored intervention plans Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environmentPersonal Qualities
