HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Primary School | Camden£130 per day | Full-Time | Immediate Start

A welcoming and well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Camden is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive team immediately.

The Role

This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm) starting immediately until July, with the potential to continue in a full-time position from September for the academic year.

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. This will include leading small group sessions, covering classes where required, and supporting pupils with additional needs including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).

Daily Rate: £130 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide class cover when required
• Lead small group interventions to support pupil progress
• Support pupils with SEMH needs to access learning effectively
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and senior leadership
• Help maintain a positive, structured learning environment

The school is looking for a confident and adaptable HLTA who:

• Holds HLTA status or significant experience at HLTA level
• Has experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Is confident leading lessons and managing a classroom
• Builds strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Is proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting pupils' development
