About the role/school We are working with a welcoming and supportive two-form entry, Ofsted-rated Good primary school in Waltham Forest to recruit an enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher. The school has a strong, collaborative staff team and a leadership structure that is particularly supportive of teachers in the early stages of their career, making this a fantastic opportunity for ECTs - while remaining equally suitable for more experienced teachers.
The successful Primary Class Teacher will join a well-organised school with clear behaviour expectations, shared planning, and a strong focus on staff development and wellbeing. On-site parking is available, making the school easily accessible for staff travelling by car.
Job Responsibilities ➢ Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum. ➢ Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. ➢ Assess, track, and support pupil progress effectively. ➢ Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils. ➢ Work collaboratively with year group partners, support staff, and leadership. ➢ Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and achievement.
Qualifications/Experience ➢ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification. ➢ Confident classroom presence and strong communication skills. ➢ A reflective and proactive approach to professional development. ➢ Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service. ➢ Right to work in the UK.
