The School

A well-respected and community-driven primary school in the Kennington area of Lambeth is seeking a committed Primary Class Teacher to join their team for the (Apply online only) academic year.

The Role

The successful Primary Class Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, supporting pupils as they build key skills in Lower KS2.

This is a fixed-term role for one academic year, ideal for a teacher looking to gain experience in a well-organised and supportive school.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Supporting progress in reading, writing and maths
Using assessment effectively to inform teaching
Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Working closely with colleagues and support staff

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:

Holds QTS with recent UK primary teaching experience
Has experience teaching in KS2
Demonstrates strong classroom management
Works well within a collaborative teamBoth experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
