We are partnering with a large and well established financial services organisation based in the Thames Valley who are looking for a Pricing Manager to join their team.
The business is on a journey to become more data driven, looking to ensure that the business makes the right commercial decisions based on real data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the enterprise - wide pricing strategy across retail and digital channels
- Lead policy -setting for pricing tests, commercial trials, and elasticity modelling
- Manage margin modelling, margin support frameworks, and revenue distribution across channels
- Own channel product distribution strategy and pricing architecture
- Conduct and maintain competitor monitoring and market intelligence processes
- Lead product and channel pricing modelling and scenario analysis to support business decisions
- Manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) modelling for pricing -related revenue lines
- Ensure all pricing activity is compliant with FCA Consumer Duty fair value requirements
- Provide pricing expertise and modelling support to product commercial, and finance stakeholders
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, legal, finance, and external vendors to ensure all business requirements are clearly communicated and understood.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and organizational compliance standards throughout the procurement process.
Essential skills/experience
- Expert - level understanding of pricing strategy, yield management, and revenue optimisation
- Strong analytical skills in building pricing models, elasticity analyses, and margin scenarios
- Experience designing and executing pricing tests and evaluating commercial outcomes
- Knowledge of distribution economics and commercial structures across retail, digital, and agency channels
- Ability to model and optimise the economics of multi - channel distribution arrangements
- Understanding of franchise -style distribution economics is advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in Data Modelling, Python, R, SQL,
- Excel financial modelling, scenario analysis, and data visualisation
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for pricing and revenue reporting
- Ability to translate complex pricing models into clear commercial recommendations
You must have full right to work in the UK
This role is hybrid working and would require 2-3 days pw in their offices
