About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Press Team Leader to join a busy printing operation. You’ll report to the Press Shift Manager and take responsibility for organising and supervising staff to ensure smooth press operations, meeting production schedules and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

In this role, you’ll also deputise for the Press Shift Manager when required, overseeing press, mailroom, and platemaking operations. You’ll play a key part in fostering positive teamwork between shifts, maintaining production efficiency, and ensuring effective handovers. You will have 5 printers reporting into you.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise press operations during shift, ensuring print quality and production targets are met.

Deputise for the Press Shift Manager, covering press, mailroom, and platemaking.

Communicate effectively between shifts, supporting operational improvements.

Oversee press set-up, web-up, plate fitting, and quality control (inking density, registration, etc).

Operate or re-output plates via the Agfa Arkitex Production workflow system as required.
