Job Description

Our client is a specialist sub-contractor that provides a cut & carve, demolition, temporary works, soft strip-out service to Tier 1 contractors in London and Home Counties. Project values range from £1m to £35m\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n· Develop technical solutions for tender submissions on complex logistically challenging projects cut & carve & demolition projects\n\n· Review and identify client's requirements\n\n· Develop logistics and crane strategy that mitigates site constraints\n\n· Develop technical enquiries & instructions for external supply chain\n\n· Prepare programme of works (including allocation of labour and plant)\n\n· Coordinate with estimating team to ensure commercial/technical alignment- Produce technical submission and tender programme outline\n\n· Develop tender queries & prepare mid bid & post bid presentations\n\n· Liaise with the bid and pre‑construction team to deliver best possible achievable programmes and prices\n\nRequirements\n\n· Experience working for a specialist sub-contractor / cut and carve contractor\n\n· Preconstruction experience\n\n· Engineering or project manager background\n\n· Experience with structural alterations/cut & carve/demolition\n\n· Technically proficient with experience with complex temporary works\n\n· Programming experience\n\nOur client would also consider an Engineer or Project Manager who is looking to get into Pre-Construction.\n\nRemuneration:\n\n£60K - £90K (depending on experience) car allowance / travel allowance, pension and similar on a PAYE basis.
