Pre-Construction Project Manager – London & South East

About the role:

As a Pre-Construction Project Manager, you will oversee new BMS and ICT projects during the early stages, ensuring a consistent, efficient approach to pre-construction planning. Acting as the key point of contact post-sales, you will drive early design and engineering, manage procurement reviews, negotiate supplier discounts, and issue project programmes aligned with contract timelines. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to set projects up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage pre-construction phases of BMS & ICT projects

* Oversee order acknowledgements and support project handovers

* Act as customer contact post-sales handover

* Conduct procurement reviews and negotiate supplier discounts

* Produce and issue project programmes and schedules

* Drive early design, engineering, and project deliverables

* Provide commercial and contractual input to ensure project efficiency

Skills & Experience:

* Proven track record managing major projects

* Strong knowledge of BMS/ICT systems and associated technologies

* Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services

* Strong commercial and contractual awareness

* Excellent client-facing and communication skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, and web-based document control systems
