Pre-Construction & Business Development Manager

ARBanks Ltd is ready to grow a specialist groundworks division and we need a proven rain‑maker to lead the charge.

We’re hiring – Pre‑Construction & Business Development Manager (Groundworks)

We focus on:

• River‑bank stabilization & flood‑defense
• Drainage schemes & outfalls
• Land remediation, wetlands & other environmental civils
• Earthworks & bulk digs
• Highways / road construction packages

What makes this role different:

• You bring the client book. We’ll back you with resources, plant, and a dedicated site team.
• Small-company pace. Work side‑by‑side with the owner, without layers of red tape.
• Full autonomy. From bid/no-bid to hand-over, you steer the work-winning strategy and margins.

We’re looking for:

• Experienced pre‑construction / BD professional (groundworks, civils, or environmental)
• Established relationships with councils, EA, utilities, Tier‑1 civils contractors, and consultants
• Track record of winning £100k–£2m packages profitably
• Comfortable switching between networking and technical work like bill‑of‑quantities
