Henderson Scott Finance & Accounting have partnered with a consultancy and market leader in Financial and Operational Planning. They partner with CFOs and executive teams to design and deliver modern, cloud-based CPM and planning solutions that enable faster, smarter, and more confident decision-making.They are now seeking a CPM/EPM professional or an Accountant with CPM experience to join them as a Pre-Sales Consultant, bringing strong hands‑on CPM model‑building capability alongside the commercial confidence to shape and present solutions to senior stakeholders.The RoleThis role sits at the front end of the client journey, where speed, credibility, and technical depth matter.You will work directly with senior finance stakeholders to design, build, and demonstrate planning models at pace, often producing working prototypes or proof‑of‑concept models within one to two days. These models will form the foundation of client buy‑in before projects move into full delivery.This is a hands‑on role: you are expected to build, iterate, and adapt models yourself - not just design them conceptually.Key ResponsibilitiesRapidly build functional CPM planning models (budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, reporting) to support pre‑sales and early‑stage client engagementsLead discovery sessions with CFOs and finance leaders to capture requirements and translate them into working system modelsDevelop and tailor demos, prototypes, and proof‑of‑concept solutions at short noticeConfidently explain model logic, assumptions, and outputs to senior stakeholdersAct as the technical finance expert within the sales cycle, supporting proposals and solution workshopsPartner closely with delivery consultants to hand over scalable, well‑structured models for implementationWork with cloud‑based CPM platforms (Workday Adaptive Planning preferred)Your ProfileFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or equivalent senior finance backgroundStrong hands‑on development experience with CPM / EPM toolsProven ability to build planning models quickly and accurately under time pressureDeep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and management reportingComfortable operating in pre‑sales environments, including demos and client‑facing workshopsAble to balance technical depth with clear, confident communicationIn return:Work with market‑leading CPM technologyJoin an award‑winning team of planning experts, accountants, and consultantsInfluence high‑impact decisions at the executive levelBe part of a consultancy that genuinely values expertise, innovation, and collaborationPackage:Includes 10% bonus (paid out every year for 25 years)Uncapped commission on personal and company salesPrivate health personal and familyFlexible working - predominantly remote but travel required to London and sometimes abroad (All expenses paid)Please note: My client is unable to offer sponsorship for this role therefore has requested all candidates to have full UK working rights if they apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
