Remedy International Medical are working with an esteemed private practice in Bermuda, which is a British Overseas Territory to recruit an experienced Practice Manager for busy private practice, with Nursing experience. 


Situated in the North Atlantic, with a sub-tropical climate, beautiful beaches and aquarium-like waters, and plenty of sandy coves, if you love the outdoors, this could be the island for you.


The Practice Manager will have a dual role in overseeing the business and clinical operations of the medical centre while also assisting with patient care when needed. This leader must be tech-savvy, highly organized, and experienced in healthcare management, with a strong understanding of business development, procurement, and operational leadership in a multi-disciplinary medical environment.


Practice Management & Business Leadership:

  • Oversee all practice staff including providers, front desk, medical assistants (MAs), and nurses to ensure high efficiency and outstanding patient care.
  • Serve as the Head of the Business Unit, making strategic decisions to enhance practice performance.
  • Manage inventory and procurement to ensure adequate medical and office supplies.
  • Lead business development initiatives to drive growth and improve patient services.
  • Ensure compliance with medical regulations, healthcare policies, and accreditation standards.
  • Optimize the use of electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of patient care.
  • Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and operational benchmarks to drive practice growth.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment, providing leadership and mentorship to staff.


Nursing & Clinical Duties (RN Preferred):

  • Provide direct patient care as needed, assisting with medical procedures, consultations, and treatments.
  • Ensure quality control in clinical operations, including infection control and patient safety.
  • Train and mentor nursing and medical staff on best practices.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with providers to streamline patient care processes and enhance patient experience.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) preferred; other healthcare professionals with strong medical management experience will be considered.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience in a multi-disciplinary medical practice or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical practice operations, inventory management, and procurement.
  • Highly tech-savvy, with experience in electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management software.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to train, mentor, and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with business development and growth strategies in healthcare is an asset.
