We are currently working with a large well-established client based in Blackburn who are looking to recruit a PQ Management Accountant to join the business. The role is due to growth within their specialised marketplace and offers the candidate a chance to really develop their finance career, with visibility of your reporting at Board level.

The business has made several acquisitions over recent years and has expanded their reach with customers on a national basis. Alongside this they have solidified their infrastructure and now look to expand further with a strong growth plan, with their well-established brand they are really making a significant impact.

The role involves: -
Responsible for monthly reporting of several regional cost centres, including P&L review and balance sheets reconciliations.
Manage the internal expenditure for specific areas within the business.
Produce analysis around margin reports and profitability.
Accruals/Prepayments
Monitor the stock reconciliations and movements across the Group.
Assist with process improvement and support the development of your peers.
Responsible for the accuracy of the reporting around the intercompany stock reconciliations

The role would suit a candidate who is Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or an AAT Technician who is looking for the next step where you can be influential in your presentation of the company financials. You will gain exposure to both financially and commercially reporting and be able a strong communicator with all departments across the business, developing accountability of the financials across the Board.
