Overview
Im supporting one of my clients within the food manufacturing sector who are looking to add a PPM Engineerto their engineering team. This is a hands-on role maintaining and repairing a range of production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on production machinery including conveyors, ovens, filling machines, metal detectors and x-rays.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety and company standards.
- Complete daily engineering logs, PPM sheets and relevant documentation.
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to engineering projects.
Skills & Experience
- Time-served or qualified engineer (mechanical or electrical bias).
- Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing environments preferred.
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. xbpsjku
- Confident interpreting engineering drawings and manuals.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
