Details of a Power Press Setter
* Location: Redditch B98 7
* Working days: Monday – Thursday Only
* Shift details: Days 9.75 hours per day
* Pay rate: £28,392 per annum
* Duration of role: Permanent
Role of a Power Press Setter
* Set up, adjust and operate a full range of progression and second-operation tooling in power press machinery, working with material thicknesses from 0.2mm – 6mm using Bruderer, C-Frame, Chin Fong, Worcester and Sweeny presses ranging from 6 to 160 tonnes
* Draw appropriate raw materials from stores and follow works orders accurately
* Document production data including run times, defects, downtime and tool performance
* Ensure tooling is correctly identified and controlled post-production
* Maintain high standards of workplace cleanliness and organisation
Requirements of a Power Press Setter
* Power press industry experience
* Rospa Certificate
* Use and understanding of general measuring equipment
* Forklift Licence
* Skilled in the setup, adjustment and operation of a wide range of progression and secondary-operation tooling for material thicknesses ranging from 0.2mm to 6mm, using Bruderer, C-Frame, Chin Fong, Worcester and Sweeny presses (6-160 tonnes)
* Proficient in precision measurement using digital callipers, micrometres, gauges, shadowgraphs, and OGP measuring equipment
* To operate a range of Power Press Machines (Mechanical &/or Hydraulic/Pneumatic) with manual and/or coil feeders
* Used to working within the following quality standards; IATF16949, ISO9001, AS9001 & ISO14001
