Power Fence Installers UK Wide (x2 Roles)Locations: UK Wide - Midlands or Central UK based as involves national travelSalary: up to £38,000 + Overtime + BenefitsWe are currently recruiting for two experienced Power Fence Installers to join a specialist security and access control engineering team working across critical national infrastructure sites throughout the UK.These are field-based roles supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical security systems across a wide range of high-security environments including utilities, energy, telecommunications, water, and defence infrastructure.The roles are UK-wide due to national contract coverage, therefore candidates must be comfortable with regular travel. These positions would ideally suit engineers based centrally to support efficient nationwide coverage.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing technical team working on complex and secure infrastructure projects, offering long-term stability and progression.Key Responsibilities:Installation and testing of electrical power fence systemsInstallation and integration of CCTV and access control systemsFault diagnosis and repair of electrical security systemsWorking on critical infrastructure sites including substations, power stations, telecoms sites, water facilities, and MOD environmentsLiaising with clients, site teams, architects, and project managersEnsuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with specificationSupporting commissioning and system handover activitiesCompletion of site documentation, asset tagging, and reportingManaging van stock and equipment requirementsSupporting wider engineering teams where requiredRequirements:Strong electrical installation and fault-finding experienceBackground in security systems, power fencing, CCTV, or access controlAbility to use test equipment including digital multimetersComfortable working in high-security and regulated environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a field-based teamGood communication skills when working with clients and site stakeholdersBasic IT literacy for reporting and documentationDesirable Experience:Experience with Gallagher systems or similar platformsBackground in utilities, infrastructure, or critical security sectorsExperience supporting commissioning or training activitiesAdditional Information:These are UK-wide roles due to national contract requirements, with regular travel expected.
