About the role:
We are currently recruiting an experience Service Engineer for our Paisley depot to support both depot-based and field-based operations across Scotland, on occasions there will be travel required across Scotland which may include Livingston, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, and Falkirk. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled engineer with diesel engine experience looking to develop their career.
What you’ll be doing: \n Service, maintain, and repair pumps, generators, and diesel-powered equipment in both depot and field-based environments.
\n Prepare and inspect equipment at the depot to ensure it is fully operational before deployment.
\n Carry out major overhauls and refurbishments of end-of-life equipment.
\n Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
\n Collaborate effectively with the service team, hire controller, and foreman to ensure smooth operations.
