Working Hours: 7am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £15.39 per hour

Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail for drivers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s most trusted organisations, playing a vital role in ensuring mail and parcels are delivered safely and efficiently across the local region from one delivery depo office to another.

Your Role

Drive a 3.5t vehicle, ensuring timely and secure deliveries of high-value and sensitive items
Follow scheduled routes of sometimes long-distance driving and respond to any delivery changes quickly and professionally
Load and unload consignments with care and attention
Provide exceptional customer service on every route
Complete all necessary documentation and maintain accurate records
Requirements

Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
Proven experience in multi-drop or secure delivery work preferred
Ability to pass enhanced security vetting, including DBS checks and a credit check
A positive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
