We are a *diverse and inclusive employer*, reflecting this both in our workforce and the culturally competent care packages we deliver. *About the Role* As the *PBS Lead*, you will work directly under the Directors and in close partnership with our frontline services. This is a key leadership role responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of effective behaviour support strategies. You will carry a clinical caseload and provide: * Clinical guidance and mentorship to staff * Direct input into PBS support plans * Strategic oversight of risk management approaches * Specialist training and supervision This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong PBS or ABA qualifications, who thrives on working collaboratively, empowering others, and shaping best practices in adult social care. *Clinical supervision* will be provided if required, supporting your professional development and reflective practice. *Key Responsibilities* * Ensure all PBS practices align with *CQC standards* and current national guidance * Lead the development and implementation of high-quality *PBS support plans* * Work closely with Registered Managers, Team Leaders, and Directors to embed PBS principles * Monitor and adapt support strategies in response to behavioural changes or incidents * Supervise, coach, and model best practice to Behaviour Support Practitioners and frontline teams * Collaborate with the Compliance Officer on audits and implement any required service improvements * Support with service planning, budget oversight, and accountability to external stakeholders * Promote a culture of *openness, learning, and continuous improvement* *About You* You’re a compassionate and strategic thinker with strong clinical and leadership capabilities. You’re committed to respectful and ethical care, with experience directly supporting autistic individuals and those with learning disabilities. *Essential Requirements:* * Minimum *3 years’ experience* in a similar PBS or behaviour support role * Qualification in *PBS*, *ABA*, or related field * Experience in *designing, adapting, and implementing* PBS support plans * Background in adult social care, including autism and learning disability services * Proven ability to *lead, mentor, and influence* a multidisciplinary team * *LDQ/LDF qualification* * Full *UK Driving Licence* * Enhanced *DBS clearance* (required) *Desirable:* * Diploma of Higher Education or equivalent in relevant field * Experience working across residential and supported living settings * Track record of supporting services to improve CQC ratings through PBS integration Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm Contract length: 12 months Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus scheme * Loyalty bonus * Performance bonus Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Company pension * Referral programme Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * Do you hold a PBS qualification, if yes, what is this qualification?
