About The Company\nCavendish View School provides a nurturing and stimulating education for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs (S.E.N) from the ages of 5 to 11 years.\nWe provide every child with an exceptional educational experience which is enjoyable, stimulating and supportive, enabling them to reach their full potential. Our goal is to give the children at Cavendish View School a window on the wider world.\nPupils benefit from a multi-disciplinary team consisting of teachers, a family liaison officer, teaching assistants, a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist and a mental health practitioner.\n\nAbout The Role\nPositive Behaviour Support Assistant (PBS Practitioner)\nSalary: £30,000 per annum\nWe’re looking for a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Assistant (PBS Practitioner) to join our school team and help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for pupils with additional needs.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEmbed PBS principles into daily school practice to promote positive behaviour and reduce restrictive interventions.\nWork directly with pupils who present behaviours that challenge, supporting staff to implement effective strategies.\nCollect and analyse behavioural data, contribute to functional assessments, and assist in developing person-centred PBS plans.\nMonitor and review interventions, attend multi-disciplinary meetings, and provide clear reports.\nSupport transitions for new pupils and engage with parents/carers through meetings and workshops.\nDeliver staff training and promote best practice across the school.What we’re looking for:\n\nExperience or knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support in an educational setting.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nCommitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.\nWillingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.\nLevel 4 PBS or willing to work towards Level 4 or 5. \nApply Now! \nDon’t meet every single requirement?
