This post is available as a secondment opportunity or as a fixed term contract 9 months contract 28 hours per week, 4 days a week (happy to talk flexible working) We're looking for someone to lead TUC policy development and advocacy work focused on protecting North Sea oil and gas workers, growing clean power supply chains, and improving job quality across the energy sector. This is a 9-month fixed term contract to cover a secondment period. About the role The Policy Lead will drive forwardthe TUC's energy and climate policy work, with a particular focus on securing a just transition for North Sea oil and gas workers, developing clean power supply chains, and championing job quality improvements across the energy sector. You'll be researching and writing policy documents, working closely with affiliated trade unions, evaluating evidence to support policy positions, and identifying opportunities to advance the TUC's advocacy objectives.
