We are seeking an experienced Plumber to work on void social housing properties, carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs, installations, and minor multi-trade works. This role is delivered on a temporary basis through an agency to support a contractor's voids and property turnaround programme.

You'll be responsible for bringing empty homes up to lettable standards, ensuring all plumbing systems are safe, functional, and compliant.

• Carry out plumbing works within void social housing properties, including:
  • Pipework repairs and replacements
  • Installing or replacing taps, traps, wastes, and fixtures
  • Fitting sinks, basins, baths, toilets, and showers
  • Hot and cold water system repairs
  • Fault finding and basic leak detection
• Perform light multi-trade tasks such as:
  • Basic joinery (e.g., boxing in, bath panels)
  • Minor patch plastering
  • Silicone sealing and basic making good
• Ensure all work meets social housing and compliance standards.
• Work across multiple properties independently, managing workload and time effectively.
• Accurately record completed works, materials used, and any follow-on requirements.
• Maintain health & safety standards and ensure safe working practices at all times.
• Liaise professionally with housing staff and operatives when required.

• Demonstrable experience as a Plumber in domestic properties, ideally within social housing, voids, or responsive repairs environments.
• Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to complete small multi-trade tasks as part of whole-property refurbishments.
• Understanding of void property turnaround requirements and compliance.
• High-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds qualifications beneficial.
• Unvented/WRAS certification advantageous but not essential.
• CSCS Card preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence may be required depending on the role.
• Own tools (some specialist equipment may be provided).
• Right to work in the UK.
