Hays are looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to work across void and occupied social housing properties. The role includes reactive repairs, maintenance, and installation of heating systems, boilers, and general plumbing.
Your new role

Carry out plumbing and heating repairs, maintenance, and installations in both void and occupied social housing units
Diagnose faults and carry out reactive and planned works on boilers, radiators, pipework, and heating systems
Install and commission new heating systems and appliances in line with current regulations
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and relevant legislation
Communicate effectively with tenants, housing officers, and other traders to ensure smooth job delivery
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any follow-up actions required
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and urgent repairs when requiredWhat you'll need to succeed

Relevant plumbing/heating qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3)
Experience in social housing environments
Full UK driving licenceWhat you'll get in return
In return, you will get a permanent contract with a tier 1 contractor across Manchester. Company van included a 30-day holiday.
