Job Description About The Role

Forest Green Rovers Football Club are excited to be recruiting an Emerging Talent Centres (ETC) Player Development Lead. The successful candidate will contribute to the long-term development of coaches and players within Forest Green Rovers ETC. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Have responsibility for delivery of the ETC Coaching Curriculum, ensuring the curriculum is consistently delivered in line with the Playing Philosophy and Coaching Philosophy.
Be responsible for designing the Club’s continued professional development programme (CPD), using internal and external professionals.
In conjunction with each of the Club’s coaches, plan, deliver and monitor the delivery of individual development plans for each such coach.
In conjunction with the Designated Safeguarding Officer, ensure all policies, practices and procedures relating to safeguarding of young people are implemented.
Ensure the oversight of ETC Coaches to ensure the same messages are being disseminated throughout the coaching team, working together to write and deliver coaching programmes.
Attend ETC fixtures
Monitor and plan the development of all players in the ETC to ensure they are getting stretched and challenged accordingly.
