Job Description Platform Engineer - 6 months - Hybrid (London) - Inside IR35 We're seeking a Platform Engineer to support a major Multi-Cloud Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiative, focused on enhancing and deploying a strategic enterprise backup solution across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments. This role is to transition from NetBackup to Commvault, helping define and implement a robust, cloud- backup strategy across multiple business units. across the enterprise Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather backup requirements (HR, Finance, Tech etc.) Help automate deployment and integrate systems like

SAS, SnapLogic, ECP Build and optimise backup workflows across AWS and Azure What You Will Ideally Bring: Enterprise Backup: Strong experience with Commvault and/or NetBackup; familiar with AWS Backup, Azure Backup, and snapshot-based protection. Understanding of enterprise storage and archive strategies. Automation & Scripting: Proficient in PowerShell (including VaporShell), some Python experience, and familiarity with automation pipelines. Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC) and hybrid cloud/on-premises environments. Infrastructure as Code: Skilled with Terraform, Puppet for config management, and GitHub version control. Operating Systems: Comfortable with Windows Server and Linux administration.
