Steel Plater / Fabricator – Permanent Position

Location: Loughborough
Salary: £17.50 per hour (£34,580 per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 (38 hours per week)

About the Role

Are you an experienced Plater / Fabricator looking for a long-term, stable role with excellent pay? We are hiring for a well-established and growing company in Loughborough that is looking to expand its skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

* Cutting, shaping, and assembling steel plate components

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Operating fabrication machinery, including grinders, drill presses, and shears

* Performing MIG welding where required

* Conducting quality control checks to maintain high standards

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in steel fabrication and plating

* Ability to read and work from technical drawings

* Skilled in welding, grinding, and using hand and power tools

* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
