We are keen to speak to Platers interested in working with us on multiple long term prestigious UK Fabrication projects.
All applicants will be required to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), check. Due to the nature of the work applicants must be UK Nationals and have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
Main Responsibilities
Reading & Interpreting Engineering drawings.
Measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting.
Operating plate cutting machine where required and trained to do so.
Assembling steelwork in line with engineering drawings.
Maintaining material traceability during assembly.
Aligning and checking tolerances.
Tack welding fabricated parts together.
Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates.
Working in confined space scopes where required.
Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area.
Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures and processes, and adherence to legislation.
Capable of Confined Space Work
Adhering to project security requirements
2025 Pay Rate and Working Hours:
Dayshift: 37.5 hrs per week
Monday Friday from 0700hrs 1500hrs
Backshift 37.5 hrs per week
Monday- Wednesday from 1530- 0130 hrs
Thursday-from 1530-0100 hrs
£21.80 per hour Dayshift
£26.16 per hour Backshift
£32.70 per hour Overtime 1 (Monday- Sat 1st 4 hours) Project needs dependent
£43.60 per hour Overtime 2 (Sat post 1st 4 hrs & Sunday) Project needs dependent
