m working with a long-established and highly respected steel fabrication company that has been delivering specialist medium-to-heavy bespoke steel projects for over 45 years. Accredited to ISO9001, BS EN 1090-2 Exc 3, and BS EN 3834-2, they’re known for producing high-quality work across the road, rail, and construction sectors.
With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth, they’re looking to hire experienced Plater/Fabricators to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Role
You’ll be involved in fabricating and assembling bespoke steel structures — including bridges, staircases, and gantries — in a heavy engineering environment. Working from detailed engineering drawings, you’ll produce builds from scratch using a range of fabrication machinery, tools, and MIG welding techniques to a high standard.
Key Duties

Reading and working from engineering drawings.
*
Fabricating bespoke steel structures from scratch.
*
MIG welding to high quality standards.
*
Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and drilling steel plate/sections.
*
Operating fabrication machinery.
*
Adhering to strict Health & Safety policies.
What They’re Looking For

Proven experience in heavy steel fabrication and plating.
*
Strong MIG welding skills.
