Plant Mechanic

Were looking for an experienced Plant Mechanic to join a long-standing and respected business that maintains and repairs a wide range of construction and manufacturing equipment. If you have a strong mechanical background and take pride in keeping machinery running at its best, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant and machinery
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Keep accurate service records and report on completed work

About You:

• Proven experience as a Plant Mechanic, Fitter, or similar role
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
