RecruitME is supporting the appointment of a Plant Manager for a complex resource recovery and renewable energy site in Lanarkshire .
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for a site that combines an MRF and an Energy from Waste / CHP operation , using gasification technology to generate renewable electricity in a 24/7 environment.
We are keen to speak with experienced Plant Managers , Operations Managers or senior site leaders from EfW, CHP, power generation, biomass, process plant, waste, utilities or heavy industrial operations .
The role Reporting to the Operations Director , the Plant Manager will lead all site employees and take ownership of operational performance, EH&S leadership, environmental compliance, maintenance interface, budget control and continuous improvement across the facility.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both the EfW plant and the MRF , ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and in line with KPI, regulatory and business expectations.
