Plant Maintenance Engineer

Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join a leading anaerobic digestion company at their facility in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest independent AD operators, supporting the safe, compliant, & efficient running of a key site.

As the Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Support the site Manager
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) & reactive maintenance across mechanical & electrical equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc)
  • Manage maintenance & repairs to reduce operational disruptions
  • Support safety, compliance, & engineering best practice across the site
  • Work a shift pattern including weekends on a rota basis including call out & remote monitoring of the AD process
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • A qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering (or strong industry experience) to level 3
  • Proven background in a process industry (e.g. AD, energy, utilities, waste, manufacturing)
  • Ability to train to WAMITAB & NEBOSH standard
  • Experience with maintenance systems
  • Familiarity with health & safety systems & environmental compliance is desirable
  • Good people & teamworking skills
  • Full UK driving licence & the ability to gain a telehandler licence
