Plant Fitter Location: Heathrow Salary: Competitive Shifts: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) Benefits include Pension, Death in service, Employee Wellbeing, and others.We are currently recruiting for a Plant Fitter to join a well-established operation based near Heathrow. This is a key role within a busy site, where you will be responsible for ensuring all plant equipment is maintained to a high standard and operates efficiently.You will play an important part in both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support, as well as carrying out mechanical repairs, fabrication, and welding.Key Responsibilities:Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across plant equipmentAttending breakdowns and minimising downtime on siteCompleting mechanical repairsReporting plant defects accurately and promptlyEnsuring all equipment complies with quality and operational standardsFollowing health, safety, and environmental procedures at all timesSupporting additional maintenance tasks and projects as requiredRequirements:Qualified Mechanical Fitter (or time-served equivalent)Strong experience working on plant or heavy industrial machineryWelding and fabrication skillsGood fault-finding abilityStrong understanding of health & safety in an industrial environmentMin NVQLevel 3 inMechanical EngineeringIf this is of interest to you, please get in contact with Chatan atJBRP1_UKTJ
