AWC Staff Services are looking for a Planning Monitoring Officer to work for our client at Bluesky Business Space, Aberdeen.
You must be a qualified environmental consultant to apply for this role and have previous experience in a similar role to apply.
Responsibilities:
* Role to support the pre-construction planning and discussions with local authorities and statutory bodies on planning conditions.
* There shall be no Commencement of Development until the terms of appointment by the Company of an independent and suitably qualified environmental consultant as Planning Monitoring Officer have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Planning Authority.
* The terms of appointment shall:
(a) impose a duty to monitor compliance with the terms of the deemed planning permission and the conditions attached to it;
(b) require to set out the frequency of PMO visits to site;
(c) require the PMO to submit a monthly report to the Planning Authority summarising works undertaken on site; and
(d) require the PMO to report to the Planning Authority any incidences of non‑compliance with the terms of the deemed planning permission and conditions attached to it at the earliest practical opportunity, and no later than 10 working days following the incidence of non‑compliance.
* The PMO shall be appointed on the approved terms throughout the period from Commencement of Development to completion of construction works and post‑construction site restoration and restoration works, unless otherwise agreed by the Planning Authority.
* To ensure compliance with the planning permission and the conditions attached to it.
Requirements:
* You must be a qualified environmental consultant to apply for this role
* Have previous experience in a similar role to apply.

Duration: 1 year (temporary)
Rate: £28.85 - £33.65 per hour
