Job Description

VolkerLaser repairs, strengthens and waterproofs concrete and steel structures, offering a tailored package of specialist works to clients across the UK. Our structural solutions include bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair and cathodic protection works, steel repair and strengthening work, carbon fibre and temporary works, jacking and bearing replacement. We also provide specialist lightweight decking and access solutions, as well as being specialists in long bridge and cable refurbishment.

\n\nWe are recruiting a talented Planner who can take full responsibility for all planning and programme requirements across our projects.\n \nIn this role, you will assist the Project Manager in managing all planning and programme aspects while contributing to the development of a methodology covering the entire project lifecycle.\n\nLocation: Role can be based from our West Midlands or North East office locations\nAbout you\n\nProven project planning experience\nDetailed knowledge of using planning software such as Primavera P6 \nExperience providing planning input and support for tenders and pre‑construction activities.\n\nExperience with working on NEC 4 contract types\nExperience of planning for Civils projects\nDegree qualified (or holds an equivalent qualification)\nHold a valid UK driving licenceIf your past experience doesn't match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
