An established housing and property organisation is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their Planned Investment team. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality, value-for-money investment programmes across a diverse residential property portfolio.

The Role

You will support the Project Manager in delivering all aspects of planned works to customers’ homes, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, to budget and to a high standard. The role involves surveying, specification writing, contractor management and project delivery across a range of refurbishment and investment programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out stock condition, validation, mid-work and post-completion inspections Prepare technical specifications, schedules of work and scheme designs Manage and monitor programmes of planned works, ensuring quality, cost and programme control Identify building defects and provide costed repair solutions Support project management of complex planned works projects Certify contractor payments in conjunction with Quantity Surveyors Monitor contractor and consultant performance against KPIs Ensure full compliance with H&S, CDM and statutory requirements Liaise with internal stakeholders and exte...
