We’re supporting our client, a global, leading manufacturer based in Stourbridge, who are looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Pipe Stress Engineer will have previous experience in piping stress analysis, as well as proven ability to perform static and dynamic analysis using industry standard software.
Responsibilities for Pipe Stress Engineer:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in piping stress analysis
* Proven ability to perform static and dynamic analysis using industry-standard software (CAESAR II)
* Experience with designing and specifying pipe supports & spring hangers using CAESAR II
* Experience with modelling Expansion Joints and Pump Connectors using CAESAR II
* Excellent understanding of relevant piping codes and standards (e.g. ASME B31.3)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to learn pipework expansion design using expansion bellows, anchors and guides where natural flexibility is not possible.
* Experience in pipe stress analysis related to process and utilities pipelines.
