The role

As a Pipe Fitter you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. manufacturing, repairing and replacing pipe work using a variety of industry standard materials

Day to day, you’ll do the following:

Documenting and reporting Dimension Control, Traceability and Quality standards.
Determining job requirements and planning/configuring equipment materials
Installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leeks, testing, repair and maintenance of various pipe systems.

Day to day associated tasks:

Fabrication, Pipe bending, Welding, pipe fitting on sight (on board ship) Manual Handling, Housekeeping
Identify hazards, problems, defects and the need for replacement, adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
Carry out planned tasks in accordance xsrmqjs with contract/agreed requirements
Carry out tasks within agreed time limits
Ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
Report to Line Manager
Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager
Collaborative team working to ensure targets are met and contribute to those of the team as a whole
