We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our prestigious client Lakeland as a Warehouse Operative in the Lakeland Distribution Centre, Kendal, LA9 6NW. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with our client.
Your pay rate and shifts as a Warehouse Operative: * You will be paid £12.71 per hour
Mon-Fri 18:00 - 22:00 ( 5days, 4 hours) 20hrs total * Sat-Sun 06:10 - 14:10 ( 2 days, 8hours, unpaid 30min break) 15 hours total
As a Warehouse Operative you will be making sure the customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. You will also be a part of a dedicated team processing high volume best sellers from the warehouse. Your main tasks will involve but won't be limited to: * Picking and Packing items ready for distribution in line with set targets * Moving cages and unloading products out of cases to fill the shelves * Using computer, tablet and a handheld scanner * Boxing items on a line/station ensuring products are carefully wrapped and secured ready for shipping * Manual lifting and moving heavy goods * Pushing and pulling equipment * Preparing Heated Airers for home delivery * Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards * Ensuring the warehouse is always clean
