Teacher of Physics

A dedicated and dynamic teacher of secondary science is required to teach Physics to KS5 at an excellent secondary school in the Borough of Barnet.

The Science department at this very high achieving school currently consists of 10 full-time teachers and four technical staff. The subject is taught in eight well-equipped laboratories, each with the facility for data projection. There is also a large department office with photocopying and printing facilities as well as plenty of storage for the department's resources.

All members of staff are provided with laptops.

JOB SPECIFICATION

The successful candidate will be a Physics specialist expected to plan and prepare lessons for KS3-KS4 General Science with KS5 Physics.

Essential Criteria:

Either a recent graduate or an experienced teacher A cheerful, enthusiastic and well-presented person, capable of inspiring confidence in pupils and parents. Excellent communication skills, oral, written and in the use of ICT (Microsoft Office). Capable of working independently and as part of a team and willing to contribute to Departmental resources.
