Overview

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.

• The Hematology/Oncology Program Manager will report to the Section Chief of Hematology and Oncology.
• The Section of Hematology and Oncology at the Salisbury VA HealthCare Center (SVA HCS) seeks a physician leader with training and expertise in adult Hematology and Oncology to assist with overseeing operations across our three sites of care: Salisbury, Charlotte, and Kernersville.
• The Program Manager will help support the Section Chief and the administrative responsibilities and management of clinical operations and programs.
• This will be in addition to his/her primary clinical responsibilities.
• The primary administrative responsibilities of the Program Manager are listed below.
