Job Title: Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) / Pharmacy Technician
Location: Brighton | Fixed-Term Contract (5 weeks)
Rate: £20 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:00
Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid lunch + paid morning & afternoon breaks
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our busy Distance Selling Pharmacy in Brighton for a 5-week fixed-term contract. You will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Dispensing Assistants and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and patient care in the dispensary.
Your duties will include:

Accuracy checking for a range of prescription types
*
Ensuring the quality standards and patient care within the named patient Dispensary Services team are maintained
Essential Requirements
Education:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
*
Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
Experience:
*
At least 1 year of experience in an accuracy checking role
Skills:
*
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy-checking capabilities
*
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
Ability to remain calm under pressure
*
Excellent time management and organizational skills with a self-motivated work ethic
