Job Title: Personal Advisor Location: Barnsley Pay Rate: £16.35 per hour Hours: Part-time (to be discussed) Role Overview We are looking for a committed Personal Advisor to support young people leaving care, helping them develop independence and achieve positive outcomes through tailored support, advice, and advocacy. Key Responsibilities Act as named Personal Advisor for care leavers, coordinating support and driving positive outcomes Support young people aged 1618 alongside social workers, assisting with transition into adulthood Deliver one-to-one and group interventions to build life skills, independence, and ETE outcomes Provide guidance on health, education, employment, and social development Undertake assessments, pathway planning, statutory visits, and maintain accurate records Produce clear reports and contribute to reviews and planning processes Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals and attend relevant meetings Manage budgets and support service delivery for care leavers Advocate for young people, ensuring their voices are central to all planning Support vulnerable groups including Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children Requirements Level 3 qualifi...
