Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Liverpool, Merseyside Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon or soon to be? Are you looking for a new opportunity in Liverpool? We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Liverpool for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is part time for 2 days per week with shifts between 9am to 6:30pm, along with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings for consultations only. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties. Key details Type: Small animal Hours: Part time, 2 days per week, shifts between 9am and 6:30pm Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, consultations only Sole charge: On occasion OOH: None On-call: None Branch work: N/A Computer system: Merlin Team: 5 vets, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN and a supportive non-clinical team The role The role offers a varied case load with a mixture of consultations and surgeries The vet will work closely alongside the practice manager The role offers no OOH or on-call, ensuring a healthy work-life balance The position offers the opportunity to provide mentoring and coaching to other vets within the practice About them They are a dual-site practice and both clinics are located in Liverpool The whole team works between their two clinics They offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and diagnostics, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, tonometry, microscopy, in-house laboratory, inpatient wards, operating theatres and consulting rooms They have the facilities and caseload to support clinical development They have a supportive and friendly team They can offer support for areas of special interest, along with funding for ...
