We are recruiting on behalf of an equine hospital in Ashington for a Permanent Equine Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time with shifts between 8am and 5pm, along with 1 in 4 weekends on-call.

Team: 25 vets, 5 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team
About the role
The RVN will assist with inpatient and critical care and will complete nursing duties in the isolation unit
The Nurse will assist in the preperation of patients for ultrasound and will assist the Vet
The RVN will obtain Radiographs
The RVN will update medical records
The RVN will prepate patients for magnetic imaging, acquisition the images, monitor patients and liaise with the MRI provider. xbpsjku
The RVN will assist the Vet during a rangter of procedures

The practice is home to 25 vets, 5 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team
They are purpose built referral hopsital with state of the art faciltiies including onsitre CT and MRI. They have 27 stabes, isolation blocks and repro blocks. They are equipped for minor and major surgeries
