We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Altrincham for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time for 37.5 hours per week, along with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
When working from home, you will handle both incoming and outgoing calls to deliver high quality advice and support to your clients. The position is being offered to registered veterinary nurses of any level of experience, including second year student veterinary nurses.
The practice is looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join their team. The practice believes in making use of their nurses' skills and abilities so you can guarantee that you will be a fully appreciated member of the team. The role will involve assisting surgeons during procedures, administering medication and all other aspects of nursing. xbpsjku You will be friendly and supportive to clients, having the ability to empathise with them during a potentially stressful time.
The role involves all aspects of general nursing, including:
Assisting in the day to day running of the practice
Admissions and discharges
Working alongside the non-clinical and clinical team to ensure the smooth delivery of patient and client care
Be responsible and take ownership of tasks
Monitoring operations and assisting the vet in surgery
Administering medications and taking records accurately
In patient care
Nurse clinics
Measuring blood pressure, sampling, and pharmacy work
