I am recruiting for an amazing Special Needs school and they are seeking a permanent, experienced, Learning Support assistants who are passionate about making a difference to young people with complex, additional needs.

The school caters to pupils aged 11-19, meeting the needs of students with complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties, associated communication and language difficulties and challenging behaviours; many of the students also have acute medical needs. The school provides for students with a wide range of needs including physical disabilities, autism, sensory impairment, and complex medical needs.

The school has a fantastic reputation, and the staff are experienced and passionate about the work they do and the support they give. There is clear vision set from the leadership team and both pupils and staff needs are at the core of their values.

To be successful in this role you must meet the following criteria:
* Able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the needs of SEN pupils across age ranges and phases
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of a variety of behavioural strategies is
desirable
* Willingness to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the post e.g. attend
parents evening
* Must be able to communicate at all levels
