Want up to £70,000 per annum commensurate to experience We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Boston for a Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is part time for either 4 nights on and 10 nights off from Thursday to Sunday, or 5 nights on and 10 nights off from Wednesday to Sunday. This role is ideal for a Vet who has a passion for OOH work and perhaps someone who has life commitments and looking for a role with minimal disruption. Key details Type: Small animal Hours: Part time, 4 or 5 nights on and 10 nights off Weekends: Yes, included in rota Sole charge: Yes OOH: Yes Branch work: N/A Computer system: Merlin Team: Strong veterinary team and a supportive non-clinical team The role This is a sole charge position The role is based within a small animal hospital The shifts are 13 hours The night vet would take the handover from the day Vet at 6.30pm and then hand back at 7am The role involves any further work ups that maybe required and also caring for inpatients and dealing with ECC cases The Vet will have two nurses working alongside them throughout the night.
