This Permanent role is being advertised by Brightwork who are recruiting for our Social Care client based in Edinburgh who require a Permanent Chef De Partie.

Role Details:
Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food to the highest standard for users, staff (breakfast and lunch), the in house Café, and hospitality events. You must be patient-focused and able to demonstrate practical experience and knowledge of allergens, nutritional content, and therapeutic diets.

You will ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times by following HACCP procedures, food hygiene regulations, and site-specific HACCP plans to meet set standards for food safety and service delivery. Additionally, you will work within agreed catering budgets in line with management guidance.

Your Time at Work
Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week (working 4 days out of 7 days on a weekly rota so flexibility is required)

Our Perfect Worker
Interested candidates must have previous Chef experience ideally from a contract catering background; must be qualified to SVQ Level 2 (or have equivalent experience).
Must have a valid food hygiene certificate (elementary minimum). Ideally intermediate.

Key Information and Benefits
Salary of £29,120 (rising to £30,230 after 12 months satisfactory performance review)
Additional Benefits: Shift Allowance & Pension
