About the Role
Bradford Children and Families Trust is looking for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join our South Locality Duty & Assessment Team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference at the front line of children's services, working with families at the point of referral and ensuring children receive the right support at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake duty and assessment work within a fast-paced locality team Complete Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory requirements Manage a range of cases including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Pre-Proceedings Initiate and progress Public Law Outline (PLO) where appropriate Work restorative with families to achieve sustainable outcomes Make timely, informed decisions to ensure children's safety and well-beingAbout You
We are looking for Social Workers who:
Are experienced in Duty & Assessment / Front Door services Have strong knowledge of Child Protection, Child in Need, and Pre-Proceedings Have experience working within Public Law Proceedings Can work confidently in a fast-paced environment Are committed to child-centred, restorative practice Bring resilience, motivation, and strong decision-making skillsWorking Arrangements
Hybrid working model Minimum 3 days per week in the office Flexible full-time or part-time (18.5 hours) options available

Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services Social Work England Registration.
