A well-established care provider in Scotland is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead their medium-sized nursing home in the Port Glasgow area.

The home is warm, welcoming and well-regarded for its caring staff and supportive leadership.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMC pin - essential for leading a nursing home.
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing or care home setting.
Management qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, risk management and compliance.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Lead and manage the home's staff team, ensuring a positive, person-centred culture.
Maintain full compliance with CQC standards through strong clinical governance and auditing.
Oversee high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring residents' safety, dignity and wellbeing.
Manage accurate care planning, risk assessments, medication oversight and all regulatory documentation.
Handle staffing, recruitment, rotas and performance to ensure safe, effective service delivery.
Drive continuous improvement, manage budgets/occupancy, and build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals.

Salary

£65k-£70k salary (neg DOSE)
Up to 25% annual bonus
25 days leave + bank holidays and additional day for birthday
