Our client is a not-for-profit social enterprise supporting NHS GP out of hours and urgent primary care services in the Midlands. As Performance, Insight & Reporting Manager you will support the Director of Performance & Delivery in the strategic delivery of various data analytics, KPI metrics and insight reporting to regulatory / statutory bodies.\n\nClient Details\n\nNHS Organisation\n\nDescription\n\nKey Responsibilities: \n\nLeadership of the Performance Function: \n\nProvide day-to-day leadership and coordination of the Performance team, ensuring high standards of accuracy, insight and delivery.\nLead the development and improvement of performance reporting frameworks, KPIs, dashboards and monitoring tools.\nEnsure high-quality data assurance, governance and validation processes are in place.\nLead the modernisation of performance reporting by introducing digital, automated and innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and provide real-time insight.Directorate Support & Cross-Functional Working:\n\nWork collaboratively with Heads of Department to ensure performance insight and systems support operational effectiveness and digital delivery.\nSupport strategic and operational planning through provision of analysis, insight and performance intelligence.\nProvide cross-functional coordination, joining up data, systems and operational processes to enable improved service delivery.Performance, Quality & Compliance:\n\nOversee compliance monitoring and evidence gathering required for contractual, regulatory and statutory bodies (e.g., NHS England, ICBs, CQC).\nEnsure organisational policies, processes and standards are followed and regularly reviewed.\nProduce high-quality performance, assurance and compliance reporting for senior leadership, committees and external stakeholders.Audit, Risk & Assurance: \n\nLead the audit programme covering quality improvement audits, /local audits and responsive audits arising from incidents.\nEnsure audit outcomes translate into actionable improvement plans and monitor delivery to completion.\nSupport organisational risk management processes by providing analysis, evidence and assurance as required.Programme & Project Support: \n\nSupport the Director in delivering key strategic and operational programmes across the directorate.\nLead assigned projects and workstreams, ensuring progress, risk management, delivery and evaluation.\nProvide data, insight, problem-solving and assurance support to cross-departmental projects.\nDevelop digital dashboards and analytical tools that provide clear oversight of programme, project and service activity.Relationship Management & Communication \n\nBuild effective, collaborative relationships across the Directorate and wider organisation, and maintain strong, constructive partnerships with external stakeholders involved in quality and performance oversight, including ICBs, CQC and NHS England.\nPresent performance and improvement information clearly to colleagues at all levels, adapting style to audience.\nWork closely with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance, reporting and assurance requirements.People Leadership & Culture:\n\nProvide day-to-day line management and development for Performance and Delivery team members.\nPromote a culture of collaboration, accountability and high performance across the Directorate.\nSupport staff in developing skills in data interpretation, systems use and improvement methodologies.Profile\n\nKey Skills & Experience: \n\nDegree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Health Management, Business, Data Analytics, Public Health).\nEvidence of continuous professional development\nrelevant to performance, quality, or data management.\nUnderstanding of healthcare systems, NHS structures, and regulatory frameworks (CQC, ICBs, NHS England).\nExperience working with digital reporting tools and dashboards.\nExperience in data analysis, insight , and performance reporting to support decision making.\nExperience in compliance, audit, or assurance aligned with statutory, regulatory, or contractual requirements.\nExperience in project/programme management, including planning, risk management, and delivery of transformation initiatives\nQualification or formal training in data, analytics, or performance measurement\nAdvanced training or certification in data tools (e.g.
